Not running WordPress?
If your website isn’t built on WordPress, we can still help — but maintenance looks different depending on how your site was built.
Custom websites, static sites, and web applications don’t fit into fixed maintenance plans, so these are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Frequently Asked Questions
What counts as a content change?
A content change is a small, reasonable update to existing pages. This includes things like:
- Updating text
- Replacing images
- Minor layout tweaks
- Adding or adjusting content within an existing page
It does not include full page builds, redesigns, or new functionality.
What happens if an update breaks my site?
If an update causes an issue, we’ll roll it back and restore from backup where needed.
This is exactly why managed updates and backups are part of the maintenance plans.
Do you fix hacked websites?
If a site is already compromised, we’ll assess it first.
In most cases, a one-off cleanup is required before the site can go onto a maintenance plan.
Can I use a maintenance plan on hosting not provided by GippsHost?
Yes — we can maintain WordPress sites hosted elsewhere.
However, some features may depend on the hosting environment, and we may recommend changes if the setup isn’t suitable.
Do you support non-WordPress websites?
Yes, but non-WordPress websites don’t fit into fixed maintenance plans.
Custom sites, static sites, and web applications are assessed individually and quoted based on complexity.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Absolutely. You can move between plans as your needs change.
What if I need more than 3 content changes?
No problem — we’ll let you know upfront and quote any additional work separately.
No surprise invoices.
Is SEO included?
No. Maintenance plans focus on updates, backups, monitoring, and site health.
SEO and marketing work are quoted separately.
Do unused content changes roll over?
No — content changes reset each month and don’t accumulate.
How do I request changes or support?
You can contact GippsHost via email or your client area, and we’ll take it from there.
