Australia-wide voice support

VoIP setup for Australian businesses and teams

A phone service is only useful if calls keep flowing. GippsHost helps with number porting, SIP settings, handsets, adapters, call routing and hosted PBX features so your business phone setup matches the way your team actually works.

Simple VoIP lines

Good for a single number, workshop, home office or small counter phone that needs reliable inbound and outbound calls.

Hosted phone systems

Menus, extensions, voicemail and call routing for teams that need more than one phone endpoint.

Number porting

We check portability, plan the timing and help move numbers without leaving customers guessing.

Network-aware setup

VoIP depends on good internet and local networking, so we can check the connection before calls become a problem.

Choose your setup

Start with the way you answer calls.

You do not need to know phone jargon. Pick the situation that sounds closest and we will match the right voice setup behind it.

Process

How moving voice service works

We keep the change controlled so you know what is being moved, when it changes, and what hardware is needed.

1

Confirm the setup

We check numbers, call volume, handsets, internet connection and the way calls need to flow.

2

Choose the plan

We match the right VoIP or hosted phone plan to how the service will be used.

3

Port or allocate numbers

Where possible, we port your existing number or arrange a new number for the service.

4

Configure hardware

Adapters, handsets, voicemail and call routing are set up before handover.

5

Test and support

We test the service and remain available if settings need to change later.

Phone and voice FAQs

In most cases, yes. We confirm whether your number can be ported before making changes, then guide the transfer process.

Not always. A simple VoIP service can use a compatible adapter, or we can supply suitable hardware. Hosted phone systems may use desk phones or softphones depending on the setup.

Yes. VoIP runs over your internet connection, so the quality of the internet and local network matters. We can help check whether your setup is suitable.

If the internet or local power is down, VoIP phones may not work. We can talk through backup options, call forwarding and mobile contingencies if phones are critical.

A simple VoIP phone service is usually one number and a straightforward phone setup. A hosted phone system adds office-style features such as extensions, transfer, voicemail and routing.
