GippsHost April 2026 nbn® Internet Sign-Up Competition

Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter. The promoter is PATTON, AARON LUKE, ABN 51 049 938 660, of 126B Commercial Road, Morwell VIC 3840 (“GippsHost”).
  2. Eligible entrants. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who sign up for a new GippsHost nbn® Internet service (residential or business) during the competition period. Employees and family members of GippsHost and its related bodies corporate are not eligible.
  3. Competition period. The competition commences at 12:00 AM AEST on Wednesday 1 April 2026 and closes at 11:59 PM AEST on Thursday 30 April 2026 (“Competition Period”).
  4. How to enter. To enter, an eligible entrant must complete a sign-up for a new GippsHost nbn® Internet plan during the Competition Period. Each qualifying sign-up constitutes one (1) entry. No separate entry form is required. Only one entry per person, regardless of the number of services signed up for.
  5. Prize. The prize is a credit to the value of three (3) months of the winner’s chosen nbn® Internet plan, applied to the winner’s GippsHost account. The credit is calculated based on the plan the winner selected at the time of sign-up and will not exceed that plan’s monthly value, even if the winner upgrades their plan after signing up. The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash.
  6. Draw. The winner will be drawn at random on Friday 1 May 2026 at the GippsHost office, 126B Commercial Road, Morwell VIC 3840. The draw will be conducted by a GippsHost staff member not involved in the competition.
  7. Winner notification. The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within two (2) business days of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of the draw, GippsHost reserves the right to conduct a redraw under the same conditions.
  8. Prize application. The three (3) months free credit will be applied to the winner’s next three consecutive billing periods following confirmation of the prize. The winner must maintain an active GippsHost nbn® Internet service to receive the full benefit of the prize. If the winner cancels their service before the three free months are fully applied, any remaining credit is forfeited.
  9. Service requirements. The winner’s nbn® Internet service must be successfully connected and active at the time of the draw. Sign-ups that are cancelled, not connected, or otherwise not active before 1 May 2026 are not eligible.
  10. General conditions.
    • GippsHost reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms.
    • GippsHost’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    • GippsHost reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the competition if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary, subject to any applicable law.
    • By entering, the winner consents to GippsHost using their first name and suburb for promotional purposes (e.g., “Congratulations to Sarah from Traralgon!”) unless the winner advises otherwise.
  11. Privacy. Personal information collected during this competition will be handled in accordance with GippsHost’s Privacy Policy and will only be used for the purpose of administering this competition and providing nbn® Internet services.
  12. Permit. This is a trade promotion lottery. As the total prize value is under $10,000 and the competition is conducted in Victoria, no permit is required under Victorian legislation.
